Crickets Flowers is a locally owned, 2nd-generation family florist shop in historic Lexington, Mass. Established in 1981, Crickets (formerly the Lexington Flower Shop) is celebrating it's 43rd year under owners Frank & June Sarno. Ownership will be officially passed to daughter and master designer Anne Sarno-McIlwrath and husband/business manager in 2025. We truly enjoy helping our clients with all their floral needs, whether it's a simple arrangement or for an elaborate event such as a wedding. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, and suggest creative alternatives as well. We are proud members of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and take pride in being active in our community. The environment is also important to us at Crickets. We have an active recycling program, including composting our floral and green waste, and using rain barrels in the spring and summer. We also have an organic cutting garden that we utilize for different foliage in floral arrangements during the summer and fall months. This is just a small part of what we do. We invite you to visit our shop, now conveniently located at 184 Bedford St. We always have a selection of pre-made arrangements to choose from, or we can design one for you take with you or have delivered. We also have candies and dog treats available. You can even get balloons or small stuffed animals to add to your order. Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
Delivery Policy
We deliver same day if orders are in by 2pm Monday through Friday and 12 noon on Saturday, but can often handle last minute requests, call for more info. Special timed deliveries may cost extra, again please call us to find out.
